Food for thought - long-table lunch

12:30pm - 2:30pm

Where: Basil Sellers Exhibition Centre, corner of Vulcan and Murray streets, Moruya. Access from Murray Street.

Cost: $85 per person

Join us for an afternoon of art, conversation, and seasonal, locally sourced food as Food for Thought launches at the Bas. This long-table lunch series invites you to dine in the gallery while hearing from inspiring guest artists.

For our inaugural event, we welcome Stuart Whitelaw, who will explore Growing a Creative Ecosystem—a discussion on sustainable art practice, fostering a creative community, and building a resilient creative economy. As an artist with experience in the Sage Project and Stepping Stone Farm, Stuart brings a unique perspective on applying sustainability principles to the creative sector.

Set against the backdrop of Julz Beresford’s exhibition Floating Through Calm Waters, this promises to be a thought-provoking and inspiring session.

A seasonal grazing table by Sage will showcase the best of seasonal local produce.

  • A glass of sparkling wine on arrival
  • A seasonal grazing table luncheon
  • A glass of wine or juice with your meal
  • Thought-provoking conversation with our guest speaker Stuart Whitelaw

Bookings are required by Wednesday 26 March, 4pm

Seats are limited—book now for this unforgettable fusion of food, art, and conversation.

Vegetarian, gluten free and vegan catered for.
