Opening Night: Friday 14 February, 6 – 8pm
Public Programs: Saturday 15 February, 11am – 12pm
Opening Hours: Tuesday – Sunday 10am – 4pm

In a quest to create a distinct experience, the artists have become both collector and alchemist, exploring and experimenting with both 2D and 3D forms.

The careful selection and layering of materials, most of which are second-hand or recycled, is a pivotal element in both artist’s creative process. This battle with old surfaces has resulted in playful, surreal and subversive objects and realms that are both post-apocalyptic and pay homage to a time gone by.

The Collector and the Alchemist is an exhibition of quirk and humor, with deliberate overtones of industrial and mechanical grunge, with a steam punk theme. Visitors will be transported and disorientated by the artist’s world of mischievous and charm.
