Basil Sellers Art Prize | Finalists exhibition

Opening Hours: Tuesday – Sunday 10am – 4pm

The Basil Sellers Art Prize is now in its eighth year, and to celebrate this milestone the prize has been opened to artists practicing across NSW and the ACT. With the injection of new entries the BSAP has cemented itself as a significant statewide prize that not only welcomes artists outside of the region, but revels in the opportunity to share Eurobodalla’s creative arts output.

Boasting a major prize of $20,000, a Eurobodalla prize of $5,000 and a People’s Choice of $500, BSAP hopes to attract and expose the cream of artists in and outside of Eurobodalla. The major prize is generously supported by businessman and philanthropist, Mr Basil Sellers. The winning artwork is acquired and placed into his extensive private art collection. The Eurobodalla prize is supported by the Eurobodalla Shire Council and will be acquired and added to its permanent art collection.

In further celebration, this year’s BSAP will be the christening exhibition of the region’s first purpose-built exhibition space, the Basil Sellers Exhibition Centre. The Bas will welcome BSAP to its new, permanent home with a dual opening night on Friday 22 February, 2019, 6–8pm.

It gives us great pleasure to announce the 2018 BSAP finalists:
