Art exhibition | Basil Sellers Art Prize 2022

Where: Basil Sellers Exhibition Centre, corner Vulcan Street and Campbell Street, Moruya

Opening Hours: 7 days, 10am to 4pm

Now in its 10th year, the Basil Sellers Art Prize cements Eurobodalla’s support of the arts, not only in south east NSW but Australia-wide.

In 2022 the competition became nationwide with an increased major prize of $25,000. The Eurobodalla award of $5,000 will continue to support local artists and the People's Choice winner will receive $500.

The major prize continues to be generously supported by businessman and philanthropist, Mr Basil Sellers AM. The winning artwork is acquired and placed into his extensive private art collection. The Eurobodalla award is supported by Eurobodalla Shire Council and will be acquired and added to Council's permanent art collection. Additionally, the artist winning the Eurobodalla award will have the opportunity for a solo exhibition in the Bas in 2023.
