Participants will take home several pairs of silver and bead earrings.

Saturday Sessions at the Bas are open to adult residents and visitors interested in immersing themselves in a fun and hands-on class. Participants can learn artistic techniques taught by some of Eurobodalla’s most talented artists. No previous experience is necessary.

About your presenter

Virginia Aland has been making and assembling Faience beads for 34 years.

An artisan style of bead-making, Faience beads are an ancient technique producing endlessly beautiful and fascinating beads with iridescence and intensely deep colours. The way they differ from each firing, the endless shapes, colours and combinations are amazing.  Virginia is very excited to pass on the knowledge and skills to make earrings for those who are keen threaders.
