Workshop: Create your own necklace with Emily Boyd

Cost: $120
Join talented jewellery artist Emily Boyd and create a simple macrame crystal necklace.
Find which crystal resonates with you and then select coloured beads and string to make something uniquely your taste.
Participants will learn how to:
- tie basic macrame knots
- plait string
- create a necklace.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who:
- enjoys working with their hands
- has an interest in crystals
- wants to try a different creative medium like jewellery-making.
Saturday Sessions at the Bas are open to adult residents and visitors interested in immersing themselves in a fun and hands-on class. Participants can learn artistic techniques taught by some of Eurobodalla’s most talented artists. No previous experience is necessary.
About your presenter
Emily has been making jewellery for 10 years and teaching workshops since 2019. She is mostly self-taught but studied metal work in Hong Kong in 2015. Emily's passion for using found and recycled objects is evident in her creations, inspired by nature and the ocean.
