-
Where: Basil Sellers Exhibition Centre, corner Vulcan Street and Murray Street, Moruya

Inspired by Shakespeare’s The Tempest, the theme 'What's Past is Prologue' suggests that everything preceding this moment has set the stage for what is yet to come.
Ten well-respected, south coast artists delve into personal, cultural, and historical narratives, examining how memories, traditions, and inherited legacies intersect with evolving identities, environments, and social dynamics.
The exhibiting artists are:
- Catherine Speed
- Corin Rossouw
- Daniel Allam
- Di Jay
- Fiona Ryan
- Kristen Arrayet
- Naomi Crowther
- Purusha
- Sid Palazzi
- Stuart Whitelaw.
In 2024, we reimagined the Basil Sellers Art Prize to enhance its impact on local culture and broaden opportunities for artists through dynamic exhibitions and creative programs. What's Past is Prologue is an exhibition that celebrates local artists, proudly supported by the Basil Sellers Art Prize.
